Warm Wind L-Rod
Anyone know what the l-rod that raises the desert is for? I haven't found any real use for it so far. --Dysprosium 23:31, 1 April 2009 (UTC)
Ive done a little experimenting with it, and only thing it seems to do is close up those sinkholes that drop you into the undrerground... not 100% on that. Still pretty useless since to even do that minor effect you need to get close enough that you might fall in anyhow.
Human-Only Cool Wind and Warm Wind L-rods
Anyone know how to change the L-rod to human only after you've finished the quest from Alexina? I am elf-allied, but I don't see any new option for modifying L-rods when talking to Hagel. I don't have any keywords for L-Rod modification, either. --Price 21:19, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
I don't think you can change regular human L-Rods to a Warm/Cold Wind L-Rod, but I could be wrong. There's one way I know of to obtain one, though: by buying a regular Warm/Cold Wind L-Rod from Hagel and talking to him. He'll notice it in your inventory and ask if you want it modified. Just note that the Warm/Cold Wind L-Rods cost 2,000 gold. --Aramet 21:38, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
Excuse my un-descriptiveness. What I meant to say were Warm/Cold-Wind L-rods. I've had one in my inventory while speaking with him, yet Hagel fails to notice it's elf-only. I'm not doing the quest you receive from Alexina, where it requests you to make a human-only Cold-Wind L-rod; I purely want a desert L-rod for the sake of digging up Lost Elves. --Price 07:55, 21 April 2009 (UTC)
- A common problem a lot of people are running into these days. Turns out you need to be exploration level 5 or higher for Hagel to swap the Cool-Wind L-rods to a human version. Stumped me for a bit as well.--Mystickskye 05:43, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks much, Mystic. You don't understand how much help you have been. I think this information should be added in somewhere in the Wiki. --Price 15:46, 22 April 2009 (UTC)
